Subscription, Billing & Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: 1 September 2026
Business: Blissiree Pty Ltd
Jurisdiction: Western Australia, Australia
Applies to: Paid subscriptions, memberships, free trials and other recurring access offered through the Blissiree app or related services.
This Policy explains how subscriptions, free trials, billing, renewals, cancellations and refunds work for the Blissiree emotional wellbeing and nervous-system regulation app and related digital services (the "Service"). It forms part of, and should be read together with, the Blissiree Terms & Conditions / Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
Key Subscription Principles
- You must be at least 18 years old to purchase or use a Blissiree subscription.
- The price, billing period, free-trial length (if any), renewal terms and any taxes will be shown before you confirm the purchase.
- If a subscription automatically renews, the recurring nature of the charge will be disclosed before purchase.
- You may cancel through the same platform or account channel through which you subscribed, subject to the instructions shown there.
- Cancellation stops future renewals; access ordinarily continues until the end of the paid billing period unless otherwise stated or required by law.
- Nothing in this Policy excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.
1. Who this Consent Applies To
By starting a free trial, purchasing a subscription or otherwise selecting a paid recurring plan, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have authority to use the selected payment method, and agree to this Policy together with the Terms & Conditions / Terms of Use and applicable in-app purchase terms.
If you do not agree to the disclosed price, billing frequency, renewal terms or other purchase conditions, do not confirm the subscription.
2. Subscription Plans and Purchase Information
Blissiree may offer monthly, annual or other subscription plans, promotional plans, free trials, introductory offers, or one-time paid features. The specific offer available to you is the offer displayed on the purchase screen at the time you subscribe (the "Subscription Offer").
Before you confirm a purchase, the Subscription Offer should clearly identify, as applicable:
- The subscription price and currency.
- The billing interval (for example, monthly or annually).
- The duration of any free trial or introductory period.
- The date or event on which paid billing begins.
- Whether the subscription automatically renews.
- The price that applies after any trial or introductory offer.
- How and where the subscription can be cancelled.
- Any material limitations or eligibility conditions.
Prices may differ by country, platform, currency, taxes, promotional eligibility or app-store pricing rules. The amount shown to you immediately before purchase controls for that transaction, subject to applicable law.
3. Free Trials and Promotional Offers
Where Blissiree offers a free trial, the length of the trial and the price that will apply after the trial will be displayed before you enrol. Unless the Subscription Offer expressly states otherwise, a trial linked to an automatically renewing subscription will convert to the disclosed paid subscription when the trial ends unless you cancel before the applicable renewal or billing deadline.
A valid payment method may be required to start a free trial. Eligibility for trials or promotional offers may be limited, and Blissiree may reasonably restrict repeated use of introductory offers by the same person, account or payment method, provided this is disclosed and applied consistently.
If you do not wish to become a paying subscriber after a free trial, cancel through the relevant subscription platform before the trial converts to a paid plan. App stores may impose their own timing rules, so users should follow the cancellation deadline shown by the relevant platform.
4. Billing Authorization and Recurring Charges
When you purchase a subscription, you authorize the applicable payment processor, app store or Blissiree (as applicable) to charge the payment method associated with your purchase for the amount and at the frequency disclosed in the Subscription Offer, including applicable taxes or government charges.
For an automatically renewing subscription, recurring charges may continue at each renewal until you cancel in accordance with Section 8. Blissiree will not use this Policy to impose undisclosed recurring charges.
Your bank, card issuer, app store or payment provider may apply foreign-exchange, international transaction, card-processing or similar charges. These third-party charges are outside Blissiree's control.
5. App Store and Third-Party Purchases
If you purchase through Apple App Store, Google Play or another third-party marketplace, that provider may process payment, issue receipts, manage renewals and handle cancellation or refund requests. Your purchase is also subject to that provider's applicable billing terms.
For a third-party purchase, Blissiree may not be able to cancel the subscription or issue a platform-processed refund directly. You should manage the subscription through the account settings of the platform through which you purchased it. This does not limit any non-excludable rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
6. Taxes and Currency
Prices may be displayed inclusive or exclusive of applicable taxes depending on the country, platform and legal requirements. Any GST, VAT, sales tax or similar tax payable will be disclosed or calculated as required by the relevant platform or law. Currency conversion may be handled by the payment provider or app store.
7. Price Changes and Changes to Subscription Features
Blissiree may change subscription prices or plan features from time to time. A material price change affecting an existing recurring subscription will not be applied secretly. Where required by law or platform rules, reasonable advance notice will be given and the user will have an opportunity to cancel before the new price takes effect.
If a proposed change would materially disadvantage a subscriber during a committed paid period, Blissiree will apply the change in a manner consistent with applicable consumer law, including any right to cancel or obtain another remedy where required. Blissiree does not rely on this clause as an unrestricted right to make detrimental unilateral changes.
8. How to Cancel
You may cancel an automatically renewing subscription at any time before the next renewal, subject to the processing deadlines shown by the applicable platform. The cancellation method depends on where the subscription was purchased:
- App-store purchase: cancel through the subscription-management settings of the app store account used for the purchase.
- Blissiree direct purchase (if offered): use the cancellation control in your Blissiree account or the cancellation method identified on the purchase/receipt page.
- Other authorised platform: follow that platform's subscription-management instructions.
- Unless otherwise disclosed or required by law, cancellation prevents the next automatic renewal but does not immediately terminate access that has already been paid for. You will ordinarily retain access through the end of the current paid billing period.
Deleting the app, ceasing to use the Service, or deleting an account does not necessarily cancel an active third-party subscription. Users should separately confirm cancellation with the relevant billing platform and retain the cancellation confirmation.
9. Refunds
Except where required by applicable law, amounts already paid for a billing period are generally non-refundable merely because you change your mind, stop using the Service, forget to cancel, or cancel part-way through the billing period.
However, Blissiree will provide refunds, credits, re-performance or other remedies where required by the Australian Consumer Law or another applicable law.
If the subscription was purchased through an app store or third-party billing platform, refund requests may need to be submitted directly to that platform under its refund process. Blissiree will not use a platform process to avoid any legal obligation that applies to Blissiree.
10. Australian Consumer Law
For Australian consumers, the Service comes with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in this Policy excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
If the Service fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy depending on the circumstances and seriousness of the failure. Any statement in this Policy about refunds, cancellation, liability or availability is subject to those mandatory rights.
11. Failed, Reversed or Declined Payments
If a payment is declined, reversed, charged back or otherwise not completed, Blissiree or the relevant platform may retry the payment, ask you to update your payment method, suspend paid features after reasonable notice, or allow the subscription to lapse. Blissiree will not impose undisclosed penalties merely because a payment fails.
You remain responsible for legitimate charges incurred before cancellation, subject to your rights to dispute unauthorized, duplicate or incorrect charges and to any rights under applicable law.
12. Service Availability, Pauses and Interruptions
Blissiree aims to provide reasonable continuity of the Service but does not promise uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, security events, platform outages or circumstances outside reasonable control may affect access.
Where a paid subscriber cannot access the Service for a material period due to a failure for which Blissiree is responsible, Blissiree will assess an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable law. Blissiree will not charge for a period in which it is legally required not to charge because the paid service cannot be supplied.
13. Account Closure and Termination
Termination or suspension of a Blissiree account does not automatically resolve billing if the subscription is managed by a third-party platform. Where possible, Blissiree will provide reasonable instructions to help the user stop future renewals.
If Blissiree terminates a paid subscription for reasons other than the user's material breach, fraud, misuse or legal necessity, Blissiree will consider any unused prepaid period and provide any refund or credit required by law. Any termination right will be exercised reasonably and not as a means of avoiding consumer obligations.
14. International Users
Blissiree is operated by an Australian company and may be offered internationally. Consumer protection, subscription renewal, cancellation and refund laws differ between countries.
Where a mandatory local law gives you greater rights than this Policy, that law will prevail to the extent it applies.
The availability of a plan, payment method, free trial, renewal structure or refund process may differ by country or app store.
15. Changes to this Policy
16. Contact and Billing Support
For billing questions about a purchase made directly through Blissiree, use the support contact published in the App or on Blissiree's official website. For a purchase processed by an app store or other third-party platform, you may also need to contact that platform's billing support.
When contacting support, provide only the information reasonably necessary to identify the transaction. Do not send full payment-card numbers, passwords or other unnecessary sensitive credentials.
17. Recommended Onboarding and Checkout Presentation
For implementation, Blissiree should present the following information clearly before a user activates a free trial or paid subscription:
- Plan name, current price, currency and billing frequency.
- Exact free-trial duration, if offered.
- The date or event when the first paid charge will occur.
- A clear statement that the subscription automatically renews, if applicable.
- The renewal price or a clear explanation of how it will be determined.
- A readily visible cancellation method and any relevant platform deadline.
- Links to the Terms & Conditions / Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Wellness & Medical Disclaimer, Sensitive Information / Health Information Consent, and this Subscription Policy.
- An affirmative purchase action such as "Start Free Trial" or "Subscribe," with the recurring payment consequence displayed immediately adjacent to that action.
The checkout screen should avoid pre-selected paid add-ons, misleading countdowns, hidden renewal terms or wording that makes a recurring subscription appear to be a one-off payment.
